Overview
Educational emphasis of this course will be on techniques for vision screening to diagnose amblyopia and strabismus. Diagnosis and treatment of common eye disorders in children will also be discussed.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Determine the cause of red eye in a child based upon history and clinical examination
  2. Demonstrate an improved ability to recognize and treat conjunctivitis in children
  3. Detect amblyopia and strabismus in children with vision screening at the appropriate age

Accreditation
Wills Eye Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
