AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (3.00 hours), ABO MOC Part II (3.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (3.00 hours)

Educational emphasis of this course will be on techniques for vision screening to diagnose amblyopia and strabismus. Diagnosis and treatment of common eye disorders in children will also be discussed.

1. Determine the cause of red eye in a child based upon history and clinical examination
2. Demonstrate an improved ability to recognize and treat conjunctivitis in children
3. Detect amblyopia and strabismus in children with vision screening at the appropriate age

Wills Eye Hospital designates this Enduring Material educational activity for a maximum of 3.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^TM. Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC Statement
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to satisfy the Lifelong Learning, Self-Assessment, Improvement in Medical Practice and/or Patient Safety requirements for the American Board of Ophthalmology’s Continuing Certification program.
