Overview

This is a two-day conference designed for comprehensive ophthalmologists, specialists, and allied health personnel. The conference will review clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic approaches to eye problems related to all ophthalmic subspecialties. In a didactic format, nationally recognized physicians will present the current trends in diseases and treatment options for cornea, retina, oculoplastic surgery, and other ophthalmic topics.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Evaluate current evidence regarding established and emerging diagnostic, medical, and surgical approaches to ophthalmic disease and determine their appropriate role in patient care.
  2. Compare traditional and emerging treatment options across ophthalmic subspecialties and select appropriate management strategies based on disease characteristics and patient-specific factors.
  3. Apply current evidence, clinical guidelines, and standards of care to the diagnosis and management of common and complex ophthalmic conditions.
  4. Incorporate appropriate advances in diagnostic technologies, medical therapies, and surgical techniques into clinical practice to improve the evaluation and management of patients with ophthalmic disease.
